frequently asked questions...

question:

Where would I be able to park my car?

answer:

You may park your car in the grounds of Morley Farm Barn. There is plenty of space. It's perhaps worth mentioning that you will need to travel to the studio by car as there is no convenient public transport.

question:

What materials should I bring?

answer:

We provide some basic materials for you to work with; paper, graphite and of course tea or coffee! You will find that you need surprisingly little in the way of materials. It will depend on your experience and practice of drawing as to what backup media you already have. You may prefer a clutch pencil with leads for example or graphite sticks. I have my own rather grubby red zipper pencil case containing a myriad of pencils, graphite sticks, erasers, sharpeners and an emery board. If you are anticipating purchasing equipment I advise that you are minimal - a range of hard/soft pencils are useful - you'll use up the soft pencils much quicker than the hard! A sketchbook, sharpener and eraser are a must but in the end, your own working experience will determine what you need.

Yes, there are bathroom facilities situated on the mezzanine floor in the studio and in the barn (a short walk from the studio) on ground level.
